The hosts of Grüne Laterne are especially proud of their handcrafted pasta. Prepared according to recipes handed down since generations, and made with love they are real treats for the palate. You can taste the difference, as each piece of pasta is unique, each gnocchi formed by hand, and tastefully presented on the plates with fresh vegetables, herbs and delicious sauces. Enhance your dining experience with a nice glass of wine. 

At Grüne Laterne we put great emphasis on highest quality. So, we decided not to use ingredients that were transported around half the world before making their way into our kitchen. Most of the produce we use are sourced locally, some grow almost directly in front of the restaurant’s doors. On the menu of our restaurant you will find many South Tyrolean products, that are locally and seasonally sourced, to maintain their natural flavour and aroma. Your plates are filled with fresh and vibrant fare, sourced from trusted farmers and suppliers we know personally.

Many of the delicacies, that are served on the plates of our restaurant, deeply root in traditional recipes. Of course, we also like to add a touch of innovations and creativity to our dishes. So, you can savour a wonderful blend of traditional bits and bites with a colourful composition of fresh ingredients.

At the Rosticceria, tucked away in the main building of Grüne Laterne, you will find treats to take to your apartment. The products of the brand Gusto Alpin are homemade and can easily and comfortably be prepared at your apartment. Every day you can also choose fresh dishes for take-away. And if you have acquired a taste for our pasta specialities you can also take them home with you, to reminisce about your holidays in the Dolomites, while savouring them.
